About Workshop
Vinyasa yoga is adapted from classical Indian yoga and originates from Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga, founded by K Pattabhi Jois.
For the adult class, Su creates a series of flow sequences, starting with a seated warm up, building heat as we work towards the peak poses during the vinyasa flows and then gradually move towards savasana and a short yoga Nidra (guided meditation). New poses will be introduced each session, along with the more familiar ones that we work on each time. The aim is to build strength and flexibility over time, as well as working with our breath, so that it helps us relax and stay focused on our practice.

ABOUT
Su Peters
Su has been practicing yoga since university (as a Sociology/Philosophy student it was inevitable really). But, only a few years ago, she started teaching yoga by accident. A group of work colleagues got together to practice yoga and Su ended up leading the group as nobody else wanted to. She loves the philosophy of yoga and enjoys the theory as much as the practice, so decided to make things a bit more formal. So, she decided to complete RYT 200 hr training in Hatha and Vinyasa yoga, and having spent lockdown teaching via zoom. Su now teaches face to face evening classes in Leicestershire.
