If you have a pair of tabla bring it along- if not then any percussion drum or something to tap on is fine. A piece of paper and pen to take notes is also helpful.
About Workshop
Learn the history of Tabla and the essence of Indian Rhythm Cycles. Taught via spoken notation, practical demos and playing tabla. Learn how to create the different sounds, learn the authentic names of the sounds (bols), and learn a number of rhythm patterns common to both Indian and Western music.

Kurran Gadhvi
Kurran has been learning the tabla since he was a toddler; with a rich history behind him from his family who have been musicians for centuries. He helped set up the London School of Tabla, and wants to teach as many people as possible in this beautiful art form.
