Highly acclaimed teachers will grace the fields with their inspiring and uplifting workshops as we celebrate different cultures; genres; styles of music; dance; song and ceremony.

Come alone, with family or with friends – everyone has a place at Tribe of Doris Festival – we are famous for providing a safe space for all ages; classes; colours and creeds.

What is different about Tribe of Doris Festival?

We are a social enterprise that supports communities; individuals and artists that are marginalised by race; poverty; lack of opportunity – and excluded from sharing their skills and enhancing their experiences .

The site is manned by 95% volunteers and your ticket purchase supports this.  Borderlands a refugee support group, attended the festival as Crew erecting the structures and working the our kitchens  Imayla a CIC that brings Marginalised Inner City children and families each year to experience freedom; nature and independence. From the moment you arrive you will be greeted by our Opening Ceremony to inspire; orientate and inform you and welcome you of our Tribe. You will have the chance to take part in over 200 workshops; performances; ceremonies led by inspirational creative practitioners. Whether you want to refine a passion or discover a new one. The workshops will open avenues to develop your interests or delve into new art forms.



The programme includes:-
dancing, drumming, songs, poetry, art, yoga, martial arts, music-making and ceremony from around the world, ensuring you’ll never be a passive consumer of culture, but rather part of the beating heart that is the Tribe of Doris Festival  community. However it’s okay just to watch too! Some workshops will lead to a performance slot during our Saturday Night Showcase which gives anyone who feels inspired a chance to celebrate and perform what you have learnt. However the emphasis is on taking part rather than performance.



Car parking is very close by – we let you unpack on site. Then move your vehicle to the car park – parking tickets are required.
Getting there is easy its 50 minutes by train from London Euston and ToD lay on a Coach from Bristol (return) for convenience.


We offer a select choice of food stalls to suite different tastebuds, tolerances and budgets.
Pizza, Napalese Curry, Coffee and Cake, Super Juices and smoothies and Doris Café,  plus a covered canteen offering food, snacks and drinks throughout the day.
The Doris Tribal Bar in will be back this year serving wines, ales, prosecco and other delights.
Doris Tribal Traders will also offer, locally sourced fresh bread, milk, eggs and more to keep you happy campers! As well showcasing our Doris Merchandise with branded T-shirts, Re-useable water bottles, bags and more.


Our Tribal Dinner will be back for one night only this year! So join us on Friday evening for a sit down hot 3 course meal with wine and entertainment Vegetarian; Vegans are catered for and children’s tickets are also available.

At Doris Festival love flows – so much so people even choose to get married there! Positive vibes, learning, movement, song and ceremony come to life  each evening Tribe of Doris Festival  with a range of entertainment including performances from world artists; live bands; celebrated dance shows; Open Mike sessions; intimate screenings; as well dance venues;




On Sunday afternoon Tribe of Doris Festival  brings the festival to a close with it’s “All White Closing Ceremony”. Wear something white if you dare and join us in and around the Longhouse for a last chance to gather together, celebrate, sing, laugh and pay tribute to another great event.
