Tribe of Doris would like to invite you to take part in our Yurt Building & Event Project due to be held at Radford Mill Farm, Bath. It will take place over several weekends running from the end of Feb until the 21st May 2009 when our Melody Doris event commences.
The project will be delivered as a series of informal(ish) participatory workshops and will largely be a practical experience for all involved.
Along with developing woodworking skills and competence in using tools and machinery, you will also be given an insight into the running of an event such as Tribe of Doris including basic site Health & Safety and party tent / marquee maintenance.
Our aim is to enable you to feel confident in working collaboratively with a small group of people developing transferable skills to create a strong foundation for site volunteering with us at future events.
Included in the workshops will be refreshments and a buffet lunch for each weekend you book with us.
To secure your place for each weekend workshop, we will be requesting a £10 deposit which will be returned to you on the last date of your attendance.
