At Doris you can dance as much as you like! Dance in the early morning light, dance on your way to the showers, dance while you’re waiting for your food in the cafes, dance round the fires and under the stars, oh and in the workshops too!
There’s always a lot to choose from - feet on the grass African style, whirling to the beats or the soft melodies from improvisations on a Brazilian theme, reaching into the unknown and naming your animal spirit, salsa stepping, hip shaking, welly stomping, workshops and dance parties everyday.
Different styles and different levels from across the globe, with something for everyone. Classes you can drop in just to try them out and classes you can follow all week to stretch yourself and learn deeply with talented and award winning teachers.
Warm up and warm down are an essential part of the classes so try to arrive on time to look after yourself and don’t forget to bring your costumes to enhance the dance experience. There are also stalls where you can buy African cloth, and jingles, jangles and floaty scarves for Indian or Arabic style.
