Dance Dialogues is a range of exciting dance-based events throughout Bristol over
a three month period. The seminal "Black Dance in Britain 1930’s - 1990’s Moments"
exhibition which is the centrepiece of this major cultural event will serve as a base
and information point for all other events.

COMMUNITY & YOUTH PERFORMANCE PLATFORM
Local practitioners and their students, local schools and youth
dance companies and local schools present work that has been
developed and inspired by the exhibition. The evening is hosted by
Kwesi Johnson, Artistic Director of Company Malakhi.

For the last eight years Doris has been collaborating with Bristol City Council Refugee and Asylum Services, Refugee Action and Bristol communities from many parts of the globe to create an annual, intercultural arts event to kick start National Refugee Week celebrations in Bristol. The next Refugee day will take place at the usual location, Queen's Square, Bristol on Sunday 13th June 2010.
